Frank ist ein Berliner Urgestein in der Streetartszene. Als es den Begriff Streetart noch gar nicht gab, war er als STROMAUSFALL schon am Start und hat in der Stadt seine Spuren hinterlassen.
Beschreibe kurz Dich und Deinen Style
Ueberlasse ich denn Menschen. Ich als Kleiner Furz der Geschichte! Habe aber schon eine Meinung, ueber mich und Mein Style.
Wann und warum hast du streetart für dich entdeckt?
Nach der Wende habe ich Berlin endeckt (GROSS-BERLIN) und damit die Geschichte. Auch die Stadt kann dir Liebe,Trost und Hass geben. Auch ich bin Berlin. STREETART-Modebegriff.
Warum bist Du selber aktiv geworden?
In der Not Frisst der Teufel Fiegen , ich nicht.

Ricardo Perez aka Error 76 ist ein Wahlberliner der ursprünglich aus dem schönen Hessenland stammt. Um genauer zu sein aus der Mega Mainhatten Metropole Frankfurt. Er ist seit 95 künstlerisch aktiv und sein Spezialgebiet ist der Siebdruck, speziell der Platinenstyle.

SP-38 ist ein französischer Streetart Artist der in Mitte sehr aktiv ist. Seine blauen Artworks hängen überall im Zentralkiez. SP-38 hat auch eine PSP Shape für uns gestaltet. Wir freuen uns sehr

I’m a french painter,from Normandie, prisoner in Berlin-mitte since 1995.I’m also painting posters -like a colorcopymachine-& stick them everywhere (in the world?) My style is a mix of “figuration libre” ,pop-art, calligraphie, agit-prop,…or just a free-unstyle…
when and how did you discover streetart?
In Paris, in the end of the 80es. It was a realy active movement here, with stencil,spray,poster and live painting. I’ve started with big colorfull paintings on paper, sticked outside. A good way for bring fast-free-art outside. Later, I was with “ZEN COPYRIGHT”, a group of artists active in the underground-squatt-scene. When I came in Berlin in 95, it was a dream for street-art…so much empty walls.
why did you become active in streetart?
It was something new; a possibility to show my work in a unconventional art place, and too express others ideas, to meet others artists, and to move…and change something in “grey” cities, with more colors and poésie…and how to create in another way…not only in closed place.
what kind of responses (reactions oder feedback) have you received on your artwork?
a lot : from “Wow” to “Shit” ,from people who like to collect my posters in the streets (illegaly) to people who like “delation”…( call the police)
what provoked you to chose an illegal artform?
I don’t think “postering” is illegal (not yet)… & I prefer to think about the contents and the surroundings of my actions.The illegal aspect is only for people who are agaisnt, Most of the time, I “work” in a day time, like a “normal job” , without “masque”..
what do you think about the present streetart hype?
I don’tnow…it’s massive, and more “commercial”? Street-art must be (outside) an expression of freedoom ; not a faschion-atitude.
How do you see your future as a streetart artist ?
at the beach, but busy.

SP 38 hat eines mit Comic-Cowboy Lucky Luke gemeinsam: Er ist schneller als sein Schatten - wenn auch nur mit dem Kleisterpinsel. Sein Künstlername, der auf einen französischen Polizeirevolver Bezug nimmt, spielt auf das Talent der Comiclegende an, sagt der Franzose etwas ironisch und mit so leiser Stimme, dass man ihn kaum versteht. Dabei streicht er sorgfältig die Ränder des Plakates glatt, das er gerade in der Auguststraße in Mitte auf eine Häuserwand geklebt hat. (more…)
